Who We Are

The MMG Team includes engineers, GIS technicians, risk assessors, geophysicists, and unexploded ordnance (UXO) safety and quality specialists with experience performing site investigation and remediation at MEC/MC and Hazardous, Toxic and Radioactive (HTRW) sites nationwide.  Our senior personnel have unique expertise supporting the U.S. Department of Defense’s Military Munitions Response Program (MMRP) in developing characterization and risk evaluation tools on Munitions Response sites across the country. Our staff has supported DoD’s emerging MMRP prior to its inception in September 2001 under the Defense Environmental Restoration Program (DERP) for the Navy, Army, Air Force, and Marine Corps. We maintain a roster of dozens of UXO-qualified technicians who can readily respond to the ebb and flow of resource requirements for munitions response projects.

Don Jenkins, Managing Member – Don has been Managing Member of MMG since its inception in 2006 and MMG’s Military Munitions Response Program manager since 2017. Don also serves as Project Manager or Technical Lead on projects related to munitions response and management. He has 21 years of experience managing and participating in munitions response actions and characterization and remediation/cleanup projects involving soil, groundwater, and structures with munitions constituents (MC) for State and Federal governments and commercial clients. He served 14 years in the U.S. Army and is a Master Explosive Ordnance Disposal technician. While in the Army, he received an MBA from the University of Phoenix and a BS in Business Administration from Columbia College.
